Drive, Walk or Cycle
Port Ban is about 2.5 hours drive (100 miles) from Glasgow on the A82 heading up Loch Lomond towards Crianlarich. Keep left at Tarbet on A83 to Arrochar and Inveraray, then take Kilberry road B8024 2 miles south of Ardrishaig. The last 15 miles are single track so please allow a bit longer for your journey and make good use of the passing places to allow overtaking. Port Ban is one mile north of Kilberry.
Alternative routes are via Cowal/Portavadie ferry to Tarbert or Ardrossan ferry to Arran to Cloanaig. See Calmac Ferries https://www.calmac.co.uk/
Bus
Port Ban has two daily bus services, both of which take bikes and dogs. So you can cycle to Tarbert or Lochgilphead and take the bus back! Map
